FAQS
-
Yes. Kin House is made for all levels, including total beginners. Our classes are designed to feel intentional, welcoming, and easy to modify. Your teacher will guide you through the flow, offer options when needed, and help you move in a way that feels strong, supportive, and good in your body.
-
For Pilates & yoga - bring a mat, water bottle and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Grip socks are optional for Pilates.
For strength - sneakers are required. -
Kin House classes are held in a slightly heated room (75ish degrees.) Think warm, cozy, and intentional- not hot yoga. The temperature is designed to help your body soften, move, and build heat naturally without feeling intense or overwhelming.
-
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class so you have time to check in, get settled, and transition into the space.
For your first class, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early so we can show you around, answer any questions, and help you feel comfortable before class begins.
-
Classes begin on time so everyone can have a grounded, uninterrupted experience. If you arrive late, we may not be able to let you into class. We know life happens, but arriving early helps protect the energy of the room.
-
Please cancel at least 6 hours before class if you can’t make it. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a fee or loss of class credit, depending on your membership or package.
This helps us open the spot for someone else, especially since class and Kin Kids spaces are limited.

-
Once you’ve been cleared by your healthcare provider, we’d love to welcome you back. Postpartum bodies deserve thoughtful, supportive movement, not pressure. Please tell your instructor that you’re postpartum so they can help you modify core work, intensity, and pacing.

No. Parents and caregivers must remain on site. Kin Kids is meant to support your time in class, not serve as drop-off childcare.
-
Kin Kids is designed for babies and children 2 months and older.
That said, every child is different. Some babies may do best with shorter visits at first, while older children may settle in right away. You know your child best, and we’re happy to help you decide what makes sense.
-
No, sorry.
-
Our Kin Kids team will always try to comfort and settle your child first. If they really need you, we’ll come get you right away.
-
Yes, simple snacks are allowed for older children, but please skip messy foods. Kin Kids is a nut-free space, so no nuts or nut-based snacks.
If your child has allergies, please add them to your child’s profile and let our team know before their first visit.
-
For now, Kin Kids is best for babies who can comfortably make it through the class window or who may just need a simple bottle. Please feed your baby before class when possible.
If your baby needs a bottle during Kin Kids, please bring it prepared and clearly labeled. If more involved feeding is needed, we may come get you.
-
Kin Kids is a short-term child watch offering during class, so we recommend changing your child right before drop-off. If your child needs a diaper change during class, we may come get you depending on staffing and your child’s needs.
-
